Thor: Love and Thunder Set Photos Reveal Matt Damon’s Role
Following in the footsteps of Thor: Ragnarok, ‘Love and Thunder’ will be featuring a stage-play style recap of the previous film. Filming for the next Thor film began in late January of this year in Sydney. Thanks to Mail Online, we have our first look at a few actors on set.
These set photos see the welcome return of Matt Damon’s Asgardian actor playing Loki.
Front and center is Luke Hemsworth, returning as Thor. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not know who will be cast as Hela in the recap. Based on Waititi’s choices in the past it will likely be someone he has worked with in the past.
Sam Neil will also be reprising his role from Thor: Ragnarok. From the photos we can see him dressed in Odin’s vacation attire from Ragnarok, as well as what look likes the green portal Hela emerges from. Clearly, this is setting up for a great reveal of the actress cast as Hela.
Thor: Love and Thunder will arrive in theaters on May 6th, 2022.
