‘Dungeons and Dragons’ Movie Adds Hugh Grant as Antagonist
The new DnD film adds two more stars
‘Dungeons and Dragons’ has added Hugh Grant to the cast as the main antagonist. Along with this, also comes Sophia Lillis, known for her work in ‘It’. Hugh Grant will be playing the antagonist Forge Fletcher while Lillis’ character is named Doric. Grant and Lillis are the latest to join the star-studded cast including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page and Justice Smith. There has been little word on plot details however.

DnD is no stranger to Hollywood
Of course, most if not all of these films have bombed at the box office. Even with stars like Jeremy Irons, studios seem to miss the mark on capturing what makes ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ so special. Paramount does not seem to be pulling any punches this go around however. John Francis Daley will direct the 2022 adaptation. Daley previously worked as a writer for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and ‘Horrible Bosses’. It looks as though this movie will take a slightly more comedic tone this.
‘Dungeons and Dragons’ will premiere May 27th 2022.
