‘Black Widow’ Will Premier In Theaters And Disney+ Simultaneously
‘Black Widow’ will premier in theaters and on Disney+ July 9th.
Marvel studios has finally come to a decision about ‘Black Widow’. In a recent announcement, Kareem Daniel confirmed the movie will drop on streaming the same day as theaters. ‘Black Widow’ was supposed to be released last year but was delayed due to COVID. With other Marvel projects moving forward, this decision only makes sense. With the MCU’s interconnected story, pushing the movie back further could screw up future projects. ‘Black Widow’ will hit theaters and Disney+ on July 9th.
Today’s announcement reflects our focus on providing consumer choice and serving the evolving preferences of audiences. By leveraging a flexible distribution strategy in a dynamic marketplace that is beginning to recover from the global pandemic, we will continue to employ the best options to deliver The Walt Disney Company’s unparalleled storytelling to fans and families around the world.
