‘Ghost of Tsushima’ Film Announced, ‘John Wick’ Director Attached
Fans of the hit Playstation 4 game ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ have a lot to celebrate today. Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures and Playstation Productions will develop a feature film based on the hit video game. Additionally, director of ‘John Wick’ Chad Stahelski is attached to helm.

‘Ghost of Tsushima’ became PS4’s fastest selling original-IP since its release in July of 2020. The open world action adventure game focuses on Jin Sakai, a samurai warrior. Early on int the game Sakai becomes the last surviving member of his clan. Though out the game, he must set aside his traditions to wage in unconventional war for freedom.
Unfortunately there is no set schedule for production on ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ as of yet. Stahelski will start work on John Wick 4 soon, so fans may have a bit of a wait ahead of them.
