‘Black Widow’ Receives A New Trailer Heavily Featuring Taskmaster

Since the announcement that ‘Black Widow’ will premier on Disney+ at the same time as theaters, it seems like marketing for the film has kicked back into action. Marvel has given fans a nice surprise by dropping an action packed trailer chock full of brand new content. 

Taskmaster gets a lot of play in the new trailer. The new footage shows off their extensive skill set and pits them against Black Widow and her sister. On that note, the trailer gives us more of the family dynamic that will give the film its emotional core. We see a much Natasha as a young girl, and get a glimpse at the sort of father figure David Harbor provides.

‘Black Widow’ will take place between ‘Civil War’ and ‘Infinity War’. Natasha must deal with a dangerous conspiracy that has ties to her past. Consequently, we will see Black Widow return home and explore her past experiences with The Red Room. Additionally, the film will also introduce Natasha’s “family” consisting of Rachael Weisz, David Harbor and Florence Plough. Cate Shortland is directing the project with Kevin Feige as producer. 

‘Black Widow’ will premier on on July 9th in theaters and on Disney+, simultaneously.
