Alfred Molina Confirms His Return In ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

After months of speculation, fans finally have confirmation that Alfred Molina will be returning as Doctor Otto Octavius.

After months of speculation, fans finally have confirmation that Alfred Molina will be returning as Doctor Octopus. In a recent Variety interview, Molina was happy to share information on his appearance in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.

When we were shooting it, we were all under orders not to talk about it. I actually described myself as the worst kept secret in Hollywood!

Although there is no information as to the extent of Molina’s involvement, it is safe to say that Doc Ock is back. Director Jon Watts ad this to say regarding the characters appearance in reference to the last time we saw Otto Octavius: “In this universe, no one really dies”.

The last time fans saw Doctor Octopus he was sinking to the bottom of the river. Watts continues to remain tight-lipped on any plot details. However he has stated that Doc Ock’s story will pick up immediately following that moment.

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ promises to be a game changer for the MCU.

Filming is currently underway for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Tom Holland will return as the titular wall crawler. Additionally, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon and Marisa Tomei will all be returning as well. Doctor Strange, Electro and now Doctor Octopus have also all been confirmed to make appearances.

Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst, Emma Stone, and Charlie Cox have all been rumored to reprise their roles from the previous ‘Spider-Man’ movies and the ‘Daredevil’ TV series. However nothing has been confirmed just yet.
