‘Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings’: First Look At MCU Project

Fans finally get their first look at ‘SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS’ with the first teaser trailer from Marvel Studios.

Marvel fans finally get their first look at ‘SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS’. Marvel studios has released a two minute teaser for the upcoming project without giving too much away. The teaser is centered around Shang-Chi himself and touches briefly on his upbringing. However the biggest take away from this trailer is that in the MCU Shang-Chi is the son of The Manderin.

Tony Leung will be playing Wenwu, the powerful and ancient leader of the group called The Ten Rings. Although we do not get much as far as story beats, it would seem as though Shang-Chi will get drawn back into “the family business” after cutting himself off from his father.

A lot of action gets packed into the quick teaser, and the fight choreography certainly takes center stage. We get a look at some traditional fighting styles, as well as a few rather mystical fights. ‘Shang-Chi’ looks like it will ride the line between classic kung-fu action and modern MCU action.

‘SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS’ will premier on September 3rd, 2021. Simu Liu will star as the titular warrior. Going up against Shang-Chi will be The Mandarin, played by Tony Leung. Although this will be the characters second appearance in the MCU, the Mandarin’s appearance in ‘Shang-Chi’ promises to be much closer to the source material than ‘Iron Man 3’.
