‘The Tomorrow War’ Sees Chris Pratt Recruited To Save The Future

The fate of humanity rests, once again, on Chris Pratt’s shoulders. The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Amazon Original ‘The Tomorrow War’ has been released. ‘The Tomorrow War’ will revolve around a group of time travels from the year 2051 who intend to draft soldiers from the past to fight a war for humanities future. 

The teaser doesn’t show us much in the way of anything, really. Although, what the trailer lacks in plot, it more than makes up for in action. Multiple shots are dedicated to the wanton destruction of human cities. Additionally, there is an emphasis on the up close action Pratt and co find themselves in. This also includes the final shot of the teaser where we get just the slightest glimpse at the alien threat.

‘The Tomorrow War’ will feature Chris Pratt along with J.K Simons and Yvonne Strahovski. The upcoming Amazon original will be helmed by Chris McKay, known for his work on ‘The Lego Batman Movie’ and the upcoming DC adaptation of ‘Nightwing’. ‘The Tomorrow War’ wrapped filming in January of 2020 however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its release was pushed back to July of 2021.
