‘Mission Impossible 7’: First Look At Ethan Hunt Back In Action
Empire Magazine had a chance to sit down with Tom Cruise as he begins marketing for the upcoming ‘Mission Impossible 7’. Not only is Cruise leading the action on screen however as he is also producing the film. In a franchise that has become known for its hard to pull off stunts, the largest challenge came from shooting during the pandemic.
During the interview with Empire, Tom Cruise opened up about the challenges the team had during filming. Additionally, he detailed the tiresome efforts that were taken to keep the filming of ‘Mission Impossible 7’ safe for everyone. Recently, audio of Cruise was leaked that showed just how strongly he feels about COVID protocols on set.
I’ve produced 30 to 40 movies. I am responsible for thousands, if not tens of thousands, of jobs. All my friends in the industry, people that are in distribution, and my crew were like, ‘What are we going to do? I could lose my house!’ So I told the studio and I told the industry, ‘We’re going back. We’re going to get everyone back to work. We’re going to start shooting in the summer. And we’re going to figure out how to do it safely.

Thanks to the efforts put forth by Cruise and his team, it looks like ‘Mission Impossible 7’ will pack the same punch as the previous films.
We have already seen several behind the scenes pictures of sets and filming, but Empire Magazine is bringing us the first promotional images we’ve seen so far. The first of which shows Ethan Hunt casually hanging off the front of a locomotive. Hunt looks calm, cool and collected as his tie blows in the wind. It’s unclear if this will be the showcase stunt of the film or if that reveal is yet to come.
‘Mission Impossible 7’ will premier on November 19th 2021 in theaters. The film will then move to Paramount+ 45 days later for streaming. The films follow up already has a release date of November 4th 2022 although no further details are available at this time.
