The upcoming Kraven the Hunter spin-off from Sony has found its lead in Age of Ultron star Aaron Taylor Johnson.

The upcoming ‘Kraven The Hunter’ spin-off continues to make progress over at Sony Pictures. Although it may change, a release date has tentatively been set for January 13th 2023. Now it looks like a lead has been cast in the Sony project. Variety is reporting that Aaron Taylor Johnson has been cast in the titular role as Kraven The Hunter.

Kraven

Kraven The Hunter was first introduced in 1962 as a Spider-Man villain and is perhaps best known for his appearance in “Kraven’s Last Hunt”. In addition to being the worlds greatest big-game hunter, Kraven also possesses superhuman speed and stamina. On several occasions, he has even been shown being capable of taking on big-game with his bare hands. Although it is still unclear as to what capacity, if any, Spider-Man will play in these upcoming Sony spin-offs.
