What Did We Think of Arrival

Arrival is a 2016 sci-fi thrill staring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. In it, Adams plays a linguist tasked with decoding an alien language, after 12 mysterious crafts land on Earth. Arrival is a tight 2 hour ride that maintains the balance between realism and science-fiction very well. Although there are points, that the movie falls down, overall the story is well worth the price of admission.

What did we think of Arrival?

Arrival came recommended to us by our very own host, Ashman. Chris had previously read the novella “Story of Your Life” by Ted Chiang, written in 1998. As part of our attempt to force each other out of our respective comfort zones, Ashman stepped up to the plate and delivered. Unfortunately, opinions were slightly divided on Arrival, so make sure to watch the movie and form your own opinions. ‘What Did We Think Of Arrival’ is available whoever good podcasts can be found. Obviously there a spoilers.
